Gen 31:53 The God of Abraham, and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge betwixt us. And Jacob sware by the fear of his father Isaac.

Went browsing and came across some interesting information. Ligioner brought up how Laban and Jacob were now on equal terms. How Laban had not respected Jacob, but was now willing to treat him as an equal.
This article highlighted how we are to fear God - which Isaac most certainly did! Think about it, he was very much aware of what was going on when Abraham took him up to the top of the mount. Willingly allowed himself to be tied up and placed on the alter, knowing his father intended to sacrifice him. What trust!
