Reading

I have been reading…faithfully, just not blogging.  Still ‘feeling’ unsettled.  Fraudulent.  Hypocritical.  A farce.  I read, yet, I feel ‘untouched’.

Researching the original order of the books of the Bible.  And, well, ‘feel’ disappointed.  Let down.  Deceived.  If true, why does Christianity, or the organized ‘church’ embrace something which isn’t true.  Why the compromise?

When I became a Christian I couldn’t wait to ‘celebrate’ Christ-mass and to ensure I did it ‘properly’ I researched it.  What did I find?  Lies, deceit, compromise.

I already sort of ‘knew’ the ‘christian’ holidays were false, so the disappointment wasn’t too bad. This time…more so.  How could we (the body of Christ) embrace such a lie – if in fact it’s true.

Some will ask, what does it matter…as long as we have all of His words.  It obviously mattered to Him.  He doesn’t structure anything without a purpose or reason.  Look at the earth…on day 1 He created…and so forth.  He always has a plan and a purpose.

A-L-W-A-Y-S.

So as I continue to research the original order of the books of the Bible, here is what I’ve found thus far.  I haven’t done a side by side comparison of my previous reading order (February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December), yet.

At this juncture, I’m just praying to come out of my funk and find the passion, the desire, the love, my first love again.

And work through my disappointment at the organized 'church' and it's ongoing compromise with the world.  Here is the article The Inspired Order of the Bible which has the images below.
