Psalm 128:2 For...

For - H3588 - A primitive particle (the full form of the prepositional prefix) indicating causal relations of all kinds, antecedent or consequent; (by implication) very widely used as a relative conjugation or adverb; often largely modified by other particles annexed.

Used 4454 times in 3887 verses – used in every book.  First usage, Gen 1:4 (that); current last, Malachi 4:3 (for); original last, 2 Chronicles 36:15 (because).

Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Mal 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

H1870 - From H1869; a road (as trodden); figuratively a course of life or mode of action, often adverbially.

·         H1869 - A primitive root; to tread; by implication to walk; also to string a bow (by treading on it in bending).

H1870 – is used 704 times in 624 verses.  First usage:

Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way (H1870) of the tree of life.

Last (speaking of Josiah):

2Ch 34:2  And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways (H1870) of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.

Psalms uses the word 66 times in 64 verses, Proverbs 75 times in 69 verses.

Pro 2:8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way (H1870) of his saints.

Pro 2:20 That thou mayest walk in the way (H1870) of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

Pro 4:11 I have taught thee in the way (H1870) of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.

Pro 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way (H1870) of life:

Psalm 128:1 ...that walketh...

Akin to H3212; a primitive root; to walk (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively).

H3212 - A primitive root (compare H1980); to walk (literally or figuratively); causatively to carry (in various senses).

H1980 is used 1545 times in 1346 verses – first usage is:

Gen 2:14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth (H1980) toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

Used of Enoch walking with God, the ark going upon the face of the water.

Used 68 times in the Psalms – specifically:

Psa 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh (H1980) not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Psa 12:8  The wicked walk (H1980) on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

Psa 15:2  He that walketh (H1980) uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

And the classic:

Psa 23:4  Yea, though I walk (H1980) through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

The Book of Proverbs – used 38 times in 337 verses.

Pro 1:15  My son, walk (H1980) not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
