Isaiah 1-4

...I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

Who said it? God's speaking here, but countless parents have echoed this lamentation.

3:12 children oppressors and women rulers?

3:16-23 - 8 verses detailing womanly adornments.

4:1 what does that mean, called by thy name to take away reproach.

Isaiah 5-8

7:15 butter and honey eaten to know good. Literal?

7:23 silverlings?

Isaiah 9-12

11:6-9 is this literal?

Isaiah 18-22

20:2 - naked? As in no clothes?  Or naked in the sense of not properly attired?

20:4 buttocks uncovered.
