Psalm 128:2 - ...happy...

happy - H835 - From H833; happiness; only in masculine plural construction as interjection, how happy!

·        H833 - A primitive root; to be straight (used in the widest sense, especially to be level, right, happy).

H835 is used 45 times in 42 verses, first usage, Deu 33:29 (happy); Psalm 1:1 (blessed) – same as Psalm 128:1; last usage, Daniel 12:12 (blessed).

Deu 33:29 Happy (H835) art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

Job 5:17 Behold, happy (H835) is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

2Ch 9:7 Happy (H835) are thy men, and happy (H8335) are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

Psa 144:15 Happy (H835) is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.


Pro 3:13 Happy (H835) is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
