30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
Do we even ask ourselves:
"Am what I doing to 'worship' God, from Him? Is it ordained by Him?"
Or rather do we blindly follow traditions of men, 'white washing' and deceiving ourselves, our children, and others (saved and unsaved)?
The 'rituals', 'holidays' or other events we participate in, are they from Him?
Or do we 'go with the flow' to avoid standing out?
How different and set apart do we really look?
